Sunset tonight
Our cabin at St. Alban’s Girl Scout camp. What a great weekend. We slept in a big cabin with a view, ate yummy meals in a cozy lodge, had fun paddling boats on the lake, singing around the campfire at night and taking part in a ceremony where our brownie girls became junior girl scouts. This is the first time my daughter and I ever went to a sleepover camp and we can’t wait to do it again next year.
The lake was great to hang out on. It was fun watching all the canoes going in every which direction. At one point two of the canoes had gotten so far out of sight that the camp director had to chase after them in an electric boat.
Okay, so these viking boats were a little hard to steer, but the girls had a blast paddling them on the lake. I love boats on water pictures, I just wish the lighting had been a little better for this shot, oh well.

The Lodge where we ate breakfast, lunch and dinner Saturday. The food was so good.
